Our learning week beginning Wednesday 9th April 2014
This week has been a shorter week than normal as we only returned from holiday on Monday and had some hospital appointments to attend on Tuesday. We started work from Wednesday.
This week Louise has not done any MEP maths units but will return to these next week.
In English Louise has started working on the novel "The strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde".
In Geography she has started the IGCSE unit "Population and Settlement". We have discussed the information that she will need to process in order to be able to complete the exam on this subject.
In History Louise has started working on the unit "Depth Study A: The First World War, 1914–18". This was a case again of going through the unit with her and discussing what she will need to learn.
Katie has started to study the First World War and the role animals played in it. This unit will also cover her Geography in finding where places were that became involved with the war and countries who came to help or gave help.
In English she has started to read the novel "War Horse". No Maths was done this week.
