Our learning week beginning Monday 24th February 2014

In English Louise has once again this week still been looking at the Thomas Hardy texts - At the Word ‘Farewell’, During Wind and Rain, In Time of ‘The Breaking of Nations’, No Buyers: A Secret Scene and Nobody Comes. Once again she been studying the way in which they were written and their meanings and comparing his works.

In Geography Louise has been researching the two type of ecosystems and their distribution and characteristics. She has also been looking at the relationship of each type of natural vegetation to the features of the two climates.

In history Louise is coming to an end researching the events that lead up to the start of the First World War.

Katie is working well using the MEP maths book.

The work on Russia and the Olympics is continuing at a great pace. She has been watching different sports events and been producing booklets and foldables for her lapbooks.

This week, as if you can't guess, Lily has continued to use her maths and English work books and enjoys working in them immensely.

This week all clubs and activities have been carried out as usual.
