There was no other subjects covered this week as she mainly concentrated on numeracy and literacy and producing pieces for display.

Lily has started using the maths books from Collins this session and really enjoys working in a book. I feel it gives her more of a sense of achievment when she can see all her work progressing together as she completes more pages.  Lily works really well and always wants to complete more than we had planned for her to do!

Literacy work this week for Lily is also being completed in the Collins series of books we have selected for her. There have been various exercise for her to complete as well as reading and then answering the questions relating to the story. She has also completed some work and pictures for the display board.

They all worked very hard this week and have produced some excellent work.

In addition to their academic work Lily and Katie have also been to the youth club at Blackpool Young Carers, visited the library and been to the park.
